The Central Park is changing the philosophy of benches in Tartu – there must be many more of these than before. There are never too many of them. Benches also attract people to the park. Things as simple as benches are one of the most important places in the Central Park. If there are a lot of places of activities, there must also be a lot of benches so that you can rest between activities.
Benches in the Central Park
Enough benches to seat up to two hundred people at a time
- At least 50 benches
- Double, triple and quadruple place benches
- Illuminated benches for reading books in the evening
- Tartu’s own design
- Benches of honorary citizens
- Great opportunity to sit in the middle of the city in nature
